Divine Echo
While you hunt inside a cave, the gods sometimes leave a mark behind. A Divine Echo is a small altar that appears on its own during your hunt — awaken it and your god answers, turning the creatures of that cave into blessed versions of themselves. Beat them and you walk away with devotion, essence and far more experience than a normal hunt would ever give.
The Altar
The whole event is told by a single object on the ground, and it goes through three states. You never have to read a message to know where you are — just look at the flame.
Step 1
Divine Echo
A blue flame. The echo is asleep and waiting. This is the one you click.
Step 2
Awakened Echo
The flame turns red the instant you confirm. The god has answered and the fight has started.
Gone
When the encounter ends — won, lost or timed out — the altar is erased from the cave. Nothing is left behind.
The altar only lives inside your own cave instance. Nobody outside can see it, click it or steal it.
Where and When It Appears
- Only inside hunt caves. The echo is born in the instanced caves you enter to hunt. It never appears on the open map, in cities or in dungeons.
- It comes to you. There is no quest to start, no NPC to talk to and no item to carry. Keep hunting and it shows up.
- Roughly every 6 to 14 minutes the cave rolls for a new echo. The exact wait is random each time, so it never feels like a clock.
- Killing summons it too. Every time the cave's main creature dies there is a small chance an echo rises a few steps from the corpse. The more you actually hunt, the more echoes you see — standing still leaves you with the timer alone.
- One echo at a time. While an echo is on the ground or an encounter is running, that cave will not create another.
- Someone has to be inside. An empty cave never spawns an echo.
- It waits 5 minutes. If nobody awakens it in that window, the presence fades and the altar disappears. The cave will simply roll again later.
The echo always spawns on walkable ground inside the cave, never behind a wall or on top of a creature, and never outside the cave's own borders.
Awakening It
You can awaken an echo in two ways: right-click the altar, or simply step on it. Both do exactly the same thing — they open a confirmation window. The echo never triggers by accident: stepping on it by mistake only asks you a question.
- You must be within 3 tiles of the altar to awaken it.
- After awakening one, you have a 90 second personal cooldown before you can awaken another.
- If several people are around, the first one to confirm wins. Everyone else is told the echo has already been awakened — even if their window was open first.
- The person who awakens it is the awakener, and gets a bigger share of the devotion (see Rewards).
Your God Answers
The echo does not belong to any god until someone awakens it. The god that answers is the god of whoever confirmed, read at that exact moment. Two players standing in the same cave will get two completely different events out of the same altar.
Once a god answers, every creature of that manifestation carries that god's icon next to its name, and the divine effects around the fight take that god's colours — the tide for Poseidon, thunder for Zeus, the underworld for Hades, and so on for all eight.
No god yet? The echo still awakens. It simply stirs with nobody answering: you get the manifestation and the fight, but no divine icon on the creatures. Choosing a god in the Devotion System is what turns the echo into a real divine event — and it is also the only way to earn devotion from it.
Intensity: The Six Tiers
The moment you confirm, the echo rolls its intensity. This single roll decides how strong the creatures are, how many of them show up and how much everything is worth. It is rolled fresh every time — the cave, your level and your god have no influence on it.
| Intensity | Chance | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 60% | The everyday echo. A small blessed pack, a quick detour in your hunt. |
| Uncommon | 15% | A bigger pack, and the first chance of an empowered group. |
| Rare | 10% | Noticeably tougher, and the first tier where a Champion can appear at all. |
| Epic | 10% | Empowered groups become the norm and Champions get realistic. |
| Legendary | 4% | A serious fight. Bring friends or bring supplies. |
| Mythic | 1% | The rarest result in the system. Almost always a Champion. |
On average you will see a Legendary echo about once every 25 awakenings, and a Mythic about once every 100.
The Three Manifestations
After the intensity is decided, the echo rolls what shape the answer takes. This second roll is not the same everywhere: each intensity has its own odds, so a Champion is impossible at the bottom and almost guaranteed at the top.
| Intensity | Divine Horde | Empowered Horde | Divine Champion |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 100% (6 creatures) | — | — |
| Uncommon | 80% (8) | 20% (3) | — |
| Rare | 55% (8) | 43% (4) | 2% (+7 guards) |
| Epic | 30% (10) | 60% (5) | 10% (+9 guards) |
| Legendary | 10% (12) | 55% (6) | 35% (+10 guards) |
| Mythic | — | 25% (8) | 75% (+10 guards) |
- Divine Horde — a group of blessed creatures. The bread and butter of the system.
- Empowered Horde — fewer creatures, but each one a full step stronger than its intensity would normally allow, and visibly bigger.
- Divine Champion — an enormous creature with a boss bar and stars over its head, carrying its god's name, surrounded by a guard of empowered creatures that rises with it. The rarest result in the system, and the richest.
Put the two rolls together and this is what you actually meet when you awaken an echo:
| Result | Chance of any given echo |
|---|---|
| Divine Horde | 80.9% |
| Empowered Horde | 15.75% |
| Divine Champion | 3.35% |
A Mythic Champion — the single best outcome in the system — happens on 0.75% of awakenings, roughly one in 133.
How Strong They Get
The creature never changes species. If you are hunting Medusas, the echo gives you Medusas — blessed, renamed Divine Medusa, wrapped in a golden solar glow and clearly larger than the ones around them. What changes is how hard they hit and how much they are worth.
| Intensity | Health | Damage | Experience | Size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | ×3.2 | ×1.9 | ×2 | +5% |
| Uncommon | ×3.2 | ×1.9 | ×2 | +10% |
| Rare | ×5 | ×2.8 | ×3 | +15% |
| Epic | ×5 | ×2.8 | ×3 | +20% |
| Legendary | ×8 | ×4 | ×4 | +25% |
| Mythic | ×10 | ×6 | ×5 | +30% |
Empowered Hordes go one step further. Every creature in an empowered group is treated as if the echo had rolled one intensity higher, and is another 10% bigger on top of that. An Empowered Legendary group hits as hard as a Mythic one.
Champions get their own layer. On top of everything above, a Champion carries a large extra pool of health, is 35% bigger than an already-oversized horde creature, wears a boss bar and shows stars above its name:
| Champion of… | Total health | Damage | Experience | Stars |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rare | ×8.5 | ×2.8 | ×3 | ★★★ |
| Epic | ×9 | ×2.8 | ×3 | ★★★★ |
| Legendary | ×15.2 | ×4 | ×4 | ★★★★★ |
| Mythic | ×20 | ×6 | ×5 | ★★★★★ |
The guard. A Champion never appears alone. A group of empowered creatures rises with it — one step stronger than the plain horde of that intensity, and bigger than the cave's normal spawn, but clearly beneath the champion itself, which is the only one wearing a boss bar and stars. Between 7 and 10 of them, depending on the intensity.
Rewards
An echo pays you in four different ways, and three of them land while you are still fighting.
1. Experience
Every divine creature is worth 2 to 5 times the experience of the same creature spawned normally, depending on the intensity. This is the biggest reward in the system and it happens automatically, kill by kill.
2. Normal loot
Divine creatures drop exactly what that creature always drops. Nothing is removed. The echo adds on top, it never replaces.
3. Primordial essence
Every divine creature leaves primordial essence in its corpse, in addition to its normal loot. Higher intensities leave more:
| Intensity | Per horde creature | From a Champion | Typical total for a full horde |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 1–4 | — | ~15 |
| Uncommon | 1–4 | — | ~20 |
| Rare | 2–5 | 9–16 | ~28 |
| Epic | 2–5 | 9–16 | ~35 |
| Legendary | 3–6 | 10–17 | ~54 |
| Mythic | 4–7 | 11–18 | ~44 (grupo empoderado) |
The essence goes into the corpse like any other drop, so autoloot, party loot and the usual "who killed it" rules all apply normally.
A Champion encounter pays more, not less. The number above is what the champion itself leaves — its guard drops on top of that. A Legendary champion fight leaves around 58 essence in total and a Mythic one around 70, ahead of any horde of the same intensity.
4. Devotion
When the last creature falls, everyone inside the cave receives devotion with their own god. The awakener gets 50% more for taking the risk.
| Intensity | Divine Horde | Empowered Horde | Divine Champion |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 5 | — | — |
| Uncommon | 10 | 15 | — |
| Rare | 20 | 30 | 50 |
| Epic | 35 | 52 | 87 |
| Legendary | 60 | 90 | 150 |
| Mythic | 100 | 150 | 250 |
Awakener values are 50% higher — a Mythic Champion pays the awakener 375 devotion, against 250 for everyone else in the cave.
Only players who follow a god receive devotion. If you have not chosen one yet, you still keep the experience, the loot and the essence.
Champion bonus
On top of everything above, defeating a Divine Champion hands every player in the cave 1 to 3 Essence of Creation, and permanently records the kill under that god's name on your character.
How the Encounter Ends
- You win — the last divine creature dies. Rewards are handed out, the altar is erased and the cave goes back to normal.
- Time runs out — an encounter lasts at most 10 minutes. If creatures are still standing when the clock ends, the manifestation dissolves and nobody is paid. Anything you killed before that still counted for experience, loot and essence.
- Everyone leaves — if the cave itself closes, the whole event is cleaned up with it. No divine creature is ever left wandering.
Either way, surviving divine creatures fade out about 15 seconds after the encounter ends, so you get a moment to see what happened instead of everything vanishing mid-screen.
Losing an echo costs you nothing except the 90 second cooldown. The cave will roll another one in a few minutes.
Bestiary and Tasks
Divine creatures carry a different name over their head, but they are still the same creature underneath — and the game knows it.
- Bestiary kills count normally, credited to the base creature. Killing a Divine Medusa advances your Medusa entry.
- Tasks count normally as well.
- Divine creatures do not take part in the cave's respawn. They are extra creatures, born only for the event, and they never replace the normal spawns you were already hunting.
Tips
- Clear the ground first. The manifestation spawns in a tight ring around the altar. Awakening an echo while eight normal creatures are already on you is how a Common echo kills someone.
- Pick your god before you hunt. Devotion is the one reward you cannot get back later, and it is decided the second you confirm.
- Don't panic at the size. Even a Mythic horde is still the creature you already know how to fight — same attacks, same resistances, just far more of everything.
- Hunt where you are comfortable. The intensity roll ignores your level, so a Mythic echo in a low-level cave is still a low-level creature, only multiplied. The safest way to farm echoes is in a cave you already handle easily.
- Bring a friend. Devotion is paid to everyone in the cave, not split between them, so a duo earns twice as much total devotion from the same fight.
- Ten minutes is not much. If a Champion is out-healing your damage, it is better to walk away than to waste supplies on a fight the clock will end anyway.
